Integrating Bi-Tapp into real-world practice

In my mental health practice, I use the tappers to support the processing of traumatic experiences and to help clients achieve greater emotional regulation, grounding, and stability during sessions.
I have also used Bi-Tapp while providing school-based mental health services in both elementary and high school settings. The tappers served as an early intervention tool for students who were struggling to regulate emotions, manage anxiety, or remain engaged in the classroom.
One elementary-aged student had been unable to stay in the classroom for more than an hour at a time. When using the tappers, the student was able to remain in class for the entire school day without requiring additional intervention.
At the high school level, students requested the tappers when they felt anxious, overwhelmed, or stressed by academic demands. They were also frequently used to support test-taking situations. The feedback from students, teachers, and administrators was overwhelmingly positive and reinforced the importance of providing real-time support during moments of anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation.”
